The program includes three 40-minute sessions of instrument instruction on fiddle, guitar, mandolin or banjo at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels each day.
Between music classes students will participate in music-related or Appalachian culture related activities and group jams. More details about electives to come.
Students will need to bring a packed lunch each day (including a water bottle) and wear tennis shoes to play outside. We will provide snacks. Students will food allergies will need to bring their own snack.
On the last day of camp, we will have a student showcase Friday evening, 6:30 p.m. – 8: 00 p.m. at Hancock Park.

Summer Camp is for 4th-12th graders.
No prior musical experience is required.
